Wow! My wife and I had been passively searching for a year or so for the right builder to build our retirement dream home. We have been in Fayetteville for 15+ years and have seen many builders. Also, during this time we had previewed hundreds of homes and RG Williams was a name that kept coming up as a top notch, quality custom builder. After hearing about their good reputation from multiple people in differing professions, my wife and I both agreed they were the right ones to build our dream home. There is no way I could put into words the construction experience. I can only say, it was almost as if it was a staged TV Show, it felt too good to be true! Kevin is honest, dependable, and has a great eye for details. Likewise, Rick and Mrs. Cori are great people. The house they built is amazing; it felt like a “home” even before the first piece of furniture was moved in. The RG Williams family truly understands that everything they build represents them. R.G Williams Construction was recommended to us by a family friend. We had not planned on building a home but our experience with Kevin was simply amazing. He and Cori were always available for any questions or changes that we had and made the entire process extremely easy. We took an existing floor plan and made the changes we wanted with recommendations from Kevin and built the home of our dreams.  If we knew that building a home was this easy we would have built years ago. Three years ago, My wife and I had a vision and a dream to construct a ADA accesible home. I am a 100% percent disabled veteran, wheelchair bound, that qualified for the Special adaptive Housing (SAH) grant. This grant would allow us to build our dream home, but keeping to strict rules set out by the VA and the ADA. RG Williams made our dream a reality.

 When we came to RG Willaims, all we had was the house plans and a vauge direction in which way to go. My wife and I had spoken with the VA about the SAH and what was the first hurdle we must cross. The first was finding a builder who would adhere to the VA standards. Rick and Kevin proved more then willing to step up to that task and then some.  

The next step to the SAH hurdle was getting all the paper work needed to submit to the VA for approval. This was a subtle headache, made bearable with RG Willaims at the helm. They steered through the red tape and the proper channels. Keeping in mind that all ” i ” ‘s were dotted ” t “‘s were crossed. This process almost took one year. We were so fortunate for RG Williams to stand by us, most contractors would have given up. That’s why most contractors do not take on SAH housing projects. RG Willaims were commited to this project, and checked with the VA constanly.

Almost one year to the day, the funding finally came through and we broke ground in August 2013. I watched as every move by Kevin was coordinated to ensure that every ADA compliate part of the home was to standard. When a wall or or fitting was built or put in place, Kevin would have his ADA book out making sure it complied to the standard.

When the house started to take shape, not only did he stick to our vision. He improved it. He got rid of the ramps, and replaced it with gentle slopes. This made the house look so much better. Kevin’s eye for detail made sure this project went as smooth as possible. I think I forgot to mention that this was no small project. The house is over 4000 sq ft living. 6500 total sq ft. 2 car attached 24×24 ft, and another 2 car garage 24×24 ft breezeway attached. Kevin’s team of sub-contractors worked tirelessly on this large project.

We also added a few things to the plan post ground breaking to accomodate, as we saw what was needed. I appreciated that RG Willaims was always up front with costs. Never were there hidden fees or something that would come up later. If we wanted a change or addition we paid for it. RG willaims were always transparent.

I am blessed, that my wife and I have our dream house, we have made new friends for life with the RG Williams family. Rick, Kevin and, Cori do not treat you as customer but part of the family.

We moved into our custom built home in June 2013. We are very pleased with R.G. Williams Construction; they made the process of building a new home less complicated. Cori, Kevin, & Mr. Williams are true Americans that take pride in the quality of what they put into a house and the community that they build in. We were allowed to choose all of our amenities; ceiling fans, hardwood, bricks, colors, tile, door handles and appliances without any haggle.  Kevin allowed us to change the windows, which side the garage was on, watered the lawn prior to move in.

Our beautiful gorgeous custom built home was built by RG Williams in 2012. Kevin was the person that made it all possible. He told us that he could build us a home that would put a smile on our face each time we entered into it.

On April 11, 2011 our home was destroyed by a tornado. It was a devastating time in our lives, but with the help of the Lord we made it. Each day we were bombarded by several contractors, repair men and even realtors making all kind of promises. We visited many of the homes that they built and we were not impressed with what we saw. We were on, what was left of, the back porch praying for the Lord to order our steps, and to give us directions on what to do, where to turn, and who could we really trust.

Kevin showed up right after we had just finished praying. He introduced himself, express that he was sorry for our loss, and he only wanted to give us a card to tell us about RG Williams Homes. As soon as he started talking we knew he was the person for us. He was not pushy but he expressed that he would show us the homes that they had built when we felt like seeing them.

We visited the homes RG Williams built in Cypress Lakes. We both were impressed by the quality, designs and material used in the homes. Our minds were made up. Literally NO stress did we encounter. This was so different than before when our other house was built.

We found Kevin to be dependable, honest and a man of integrity. Our home was built in an excellent matter with the best sub-contractors. We are so pleased. People stop by all the time to inquire about our contractor. We are still in touch with Kevin and that smile is still on our faces.

We purchased our third home from RG Williams Construction in the fall of 2006 and it was truly a breath of fresh air when compared to other builders in the Fayetteville area. We customized nearly every room in the home and RGW was right beside us every step of the way. RGW offered their standard one year warranty after the purchase, but we didn’t have to call them to fix anything! That alone, is a testament to their build quality!
