Building Process
Getting Started
Find out how much you can afford and how much time you have to build. Everyone has a budget. A lending institution can help you determine the amount of mortgage your budget will allow. We will be happy to recommend a local Mortgage company if you need some guidance on what type of loan will work best for you.
Get to Know the Area
Choose the location in which you want to live. Research school districts, ride through neighborhoods, and ask your friends and coworker about the area if you’re not familiar with it already. Lot options vary greatly. Whether you have a lot of your own, or find a lot in one of our communities there are many factors to consider. We will be happy to do a home site evaluation at no cost to you.

Getting to Know You
Keeping your budget in mind, we would like to meet with you to discuss your wishes and expectations. You can visit our office or we can come to you. This is also your chance to get to know us. You need to feel comfortable and a mutual trust with the people you’ll be working with over the next few months. We would be more than happy to give you past clients to contact for reference and show you some of our previous work. If you don’t have a house plan in mind we will help you find one that will work for your family.

Get a Free Estimate
Once the house plan is established, the next step is to envision the end product. We can help you do that.
The discussion at this point will be about the exterior and interior details of the house. Feel free to collect photos or start your own idea books on www.Houzz.com or www.Pinterest.com and bring it all to us. Then, Kevin will get to work on a detailed estimate which will include all that you have discussed so that there are no surprises during the building process. Another meeting to discuss the final price will include every detail of construction as well as allowances for appliances, cabinets, light fixtures, etc.
Getting Your New House Started
Once the price is agreed upon we will each sign a Building Contract and a Description of Materials (several pages long) detailing all materials to be used as well as any allowances. Immediately after contract signing, we begin the process of obtaining required surveys and building permits. During the construction phase, we will stay in close contact to make sure the house is progressing up to your expectations.
Get Settled In
Before you close your loan, we will do a thorough walk through of the whole house in order to handle any touch ups or items that may need attention before you move in. Once you are new homeowners we are still dedicated to your satisfaction with our product. We provide a one year warranty on our work. As a customer, you are our most valuable asset.
